Celebrating Diversity Month
Every September we celebrate Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) at the University
of Arkansas with a monthlong slate of events that help us incorporate more inclusive
practices throughout the school year.
Here’s what we did last year, stay tuned for this upcoming year’s programming!
AUG. 15 - SEPT. 15
U of A students, faculty and staff are invited to celebrate Appreciate Diversity Month, observed Aug. 15 through Sept. 15, by using Libraries resources to familiarize themselves with local cultures.
Several Libraries research guides compile books, articles, newspapers, oral histories, archival materials and more to facilitate understanding of the Northwest Arkansas community.
