Registered student organizations (RSOs) provide students the opportunity to form and
develop organizations based on a common interest. Students are able to create, govern,
budget and plan their own organization and events. Through your involvement with an
RSO you will meet new people, develop your interest and have fun.
The African Students organization (ASO) is an organization that provides a common
meeting place for the promotion of social, cultural, and other interests, not only among students and
other people from Africa but also among those people who appreciate and stand for
African values. Additionally, ASO cultivates and further reciprocates understanding
with members of Fayetteville community and other people from all other the world,
who found the Northwest Arkansas as their home.
Al-Islam Student Association
AISA strives to familiarize the local and university community with customs, cultures,
history, and faith of Muslim people throughout the world with the aim of creating peace and harmony,
and reducing misunderstandings, biases, and prejudices.
Alpha Kappa Alpha
Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated (AKA) is an international service organization
that was founded on the campus of Howard University in Washington, D.C. in 1908. It is the oldest Greek-lettered organization
established by African-American college-educated women.
Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc.
Since 1975, the brothers of the Kappa Kappa Chapter have continuously realized the
need for intelligent, conscientious, and respectable African American men in the community. Currently the
brothers of this chapter provide leadership and service to the University of Arkansas
in various organizations such as: National Society of Black Engineers Executive Board,
National Association for the Advancement of Colored People Executive Board, National
Association of Black Men United Executive Board, New Student & Family Programs, National
Pan-Hellenic Council, Greek Life Facilitators, and many more. Our chapter is also
involved in the Northwest Arkansas Community through Special Olympics, Big Brothers
Big Sisters, Susan G Komen Race for the Cure and a plethora of other community service
activities as well.
American Indian Science and Engineering Society
The American Indian Science and Engineering Society (AISES) is a national, nonprofit organization focused on substantially increasing
the representation of American Indians, Alaska Natives, Native Hawaiians, Pacific
Islanders, First Nations and other indigenous peoples of North America in science,
technology, engineering and math (STEM) studies and careers.
Arkansas Women in Statistics and Mathematics
To integrate and promote women's involvement in the mathematical sciences at the University
University of Arkansas Army ROTC is part of the Razorback Battalion, headquartered
at the University of Arkansas, which serves the Fayetteville, AR area in order to train
Cadets/Students to become future Officers in our Armed Forces as well as leaders in
the Professional Business World.
Ascend is a professional development and networking organization. We host fundraising,
volunteering, professional development workshops (resume and Linkedin editing, mock
interview, networking know-how, etc.) and professional networking events. Our corporate
sponsor network expands from the NWA area to national-wide.
Asian Pacific American Law Student Society
To educate, represent and advocate on national and local levels in the interests of APA law students and Asian Pacific Americans in America; To educate and promote
a deeper understanding of the political, financial, social and historical role, contributions,
and status of Asian Pacific Americans in America; To encourage participation, leadership
and community service amongst Asian Pacific Americans; To serve as a national network
of communication among the APA law student community for fostering the exchange of

Campus Civitan is a community service organization dedicated to helping people, especially
those with developmental disabilities. We participate in several local/district community service projects

toiletry drives. We also fundraise for the Civitan International Research Center in
Birmingham, Alabama – a center that devotes its research to various developmental
and cognitive disabilities, such as autism and Alzheimer's disease.

Our RSO’s goal is to give publicity to Korean food which is like a pearl in a shell.
Some people may already have tried Korean food, but I believe if more people can get to know and
taste it, they would like it more. Additionally, our club will try to find delectable
recipes that can satisfy not only Koreans, but also people from other cultures. We
will periodically cook and keep the results of the food we cook. It would be a good
experience for Korean students to show their unique food to other students from the
U of A and all over the world. It would be fun for other students and create lasting
memories in their life while on campus! Moreover, we don’t have any restrictions on
whether or not he or she is Korean to be a member. All of U of A students can come
join and cook food and taste it together!

The Pakistani Students Association(PSA) is formed to provide a forum to University

charity and intellectual events throughout the year, we at PSA aim to reach out to

We are the Panamanian Student Organization (PSO) from the University of Arkansas located
